The Kidfix i-Size was designed in accordance with the latest UN R129 (i-Size) standard and is the result of a collaboration between Britax Römer and some of the leading car manufacturers.
Every element has been developed to maximise child protection in the event of an accident, offering exceptional safety performance throughout its use.
XP-PAD: extra protection for head, neck and chest
XP-PAD technology helps protect the child's most sensitive areas during a frontal collision.
The special pad absorbs up to 30% of the impact energy, reducing the sudden forward movement of the head and significantly decreasing the pressure exerted on the neck and chest.
In addition to extra protection, it also provides greater comfort next to the seat belt.
SecureGuard: reinforced abdominal protection
The exclusive SecureGuard system creates a fourth restraint point in the vehicle's seat belt.
By keeping the lap belt in the correct position over the child's pelvis, it helps reduce the forces exerted on the abdomen in the event of a frontal collision by up to 35%, while maintaining freedom of movement.
Advanced side impact protection
SICT (Side Impact Cushion Technology) offers an additional layer of protection in the event of a side collision.
By absorbing and dissipating part of the impact energy before it reaches the child, it significantly reduces the forces transmitted to the body.

The Kidfix i-Size was created to accompany the child's growth without compromising on comfort.
The soft and generously padded fabrics, combined with the ventilation systems integrated into the structure, promote efficient air circulation, helping to keep the child comfortable even during longer journeys.
